Self-Portrait Challenge

I love running across really neat blog posting ideas. Well, it wasn't my idea but someone else's.  In this case Lanaya from Raising-Reagan saw this on Nurse Loves Farmer and she saw it originally from The Paper Mama. Kind of like the whole your mothers 2nd cousin on her mothers 4th aunts side. HAHA.
My self-portrait for the challenge is below for this year’s challenge and I’m also going to play 11 Things
Here are the rules:
  1. Post a photo of yourself
  2.  Answer the questions set for you in the original post.
  3. Create 11 new questions and ask people to answer them(I just snagged the original 11).

Chelsey from The Paper Mama started this challenge some time ago and I am really glad she did.  I often hide from the camera because I just dislike how it turns out.  She was talking about how hard it is to avoid negative comments from other people and no matter how many good ones you get that one bad one will stick out.  It really makes me wonder why people are so ugly in their ways.  I can only come up with that they are so unhappy in their own lives they want to make other hurt. Ultimately, everyone is beautiful in their own way.  Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.  Inside out beauty.  I could go on and on, but I will spare you...THIS TIME. : )

I took my "Self-Portrait" today right before we went to the Pirate and Princess party. : )

Currently:

Obsessing over…
Developing a master plan to get where our family wants and needs to be.  Organizing, budgeting, fitness, family time, spouse time, cleaning, volunteering, crafting, meal plans, blogging, saving money and of course bills.  Kind of like the "Where do you want to be in X amount of years?"
I am working on that master grand plan to hopefully make life a little more together.  Some people make it seem so effortless...I happen to NOT be one of those people. : )
Working on…
Getting rid of duplicate photos and songs in my computer; learning coordination and some sassy dance moves with ZUMBA; trying to learn how to work my new Samsung Note 10.1 and losing weight with the ladies of Slim by The Summer.
Thinking about…
Community service projects at the moment for Central Foothills Mommies.  Planning posts in advance.  We went to a Princess and Pirate party today at Chick-fil-A and have a fun filled Friday with a few ladies from the moms group at the Science center tomorrow.   Setting up life in the books....purse calendar. : ) Using paper everything so I don't have to do dishes...kidding....maybe.
Anticipating…
LOSING WEIGHT(INCHES) and being a sexy, dancing fool.  I am excited about that.  I am anticipating having my house clean and laundry done, which may just happen for a few hours at best.  Oh, and for the rain to STOP!
Listening to…
Right now it is cartoons on the Disney Channel.
Eating/Drinking…
Most recently I ate some super yummy "Fridge Dump Chili" (recipe coming soon). Going for that lower calorie factor on my Starbucks- Mocha Skinny with no whip. LOTS of water and Naked smoothies.
Wishing…
that everything comes together just how it needs to be.  Oh, and maybe for me to magically transform into multiple persons to get everything done that I need to. : ) True story.

The Paper Mama's 11 questions(You can take the challenge and play! too) are:
1. How did you choose your first child’s name? (If you don’t have any kids yet, what do you want to name your first born?)
I heard the name Haylee on Practical Magic.  It made the name Kaylei pop in my head and I spelled it different because at the time I loved my LEI jeans. : )

2. If money wasn’t an option, where would you love to live?
I am not really sure on that...I want to live in a place that is not too hot and not too cold, that is beautiful and cultural.  I really am in love with EUROPE.  Venice, Italy, Greece, Spain, Ireland, France, London.

3. What is the most embarrassing thing you have ever done?
I do embarrassing things on a regular basis, but fortunately I do them at home or in front of my husband and we both have a laugh.  Most of the time it is saying something embarrassing unintentionally.

4. What catch-phrases annoy you?
"REALLY?!"  It urks me to hear it and have to fight the urge not to say "No, not really I just felt like telling you something for no reason."

5. Do you have any phobias?
Small spaces, being bitten by any kind of animal and falling(the ground catching me part).

6. What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?
I haven't been to very many concerts.  I have enjoyed the ones I have been to though.  My husband and I went to a Breaking Benjamin, 3 Days Grace and Nickelback concert a few years back and was like 3 people back from the stage...pretty awesome(minus the teenagers).  There is a WCPR fest in MS every year and a bunch of bands play. One year I won tickets AND it fell on my birthday.  Saliva, Godsmack, Trapt and a TON of other bands played and that was pretty awesome.

7. Do you believe in love at first sight?
Not love at first sight but a seriously deep connection...yes. My husband and I met through a seriously deep connection. <3

8. High school – loved it? Or hated it?  Hated it!  I was going through some seriously difficult times in my life during high school and I am positive that has a majority to do with why I hated it.  When no one knows or understands what you are actually going through and judges you for something they knew nothing about; it was hard to say the least.

9. Do you have a funny auto correct story to share?
I really dislike Auto Correct! I can't think of anything right and this moment.  The most common thing I fight with is LIVE YOU.

10. If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
I would like to witness the only time my father held me after I was born before he died a week later, so I could see his face.

11, What is the hardest thing you’ve ever done?
Moving away from my mother, sisters, brother and other family, resulting in having none of my immediate family close to me.
