Oh my goodness, I just have to say lately all of my toys breaking. My printer is possessed and no longer wants to work, my cameras door broke...sent off to warranty, and my sd card adaptor for the camera is broken. The little piece that slides back and forth to lock and unlock it. So needless to say it apparently broke while on the locked part. I am feeling a little bare here. All of these things...especially my camera and sd card are used everyday. I am not quite sure what I am going to do about a camera. I have one that is a complete battery hog and that is always an option, but I have turned to the camera on my phone. It isn't bad, but I miss my camera. Hopefully, all of these things will come back into my life and make it much more happy. After all taking pictures make me very happy. It seems like most things tend to break around the same time. Or at least in my case they do.
This past week I have been volunteering with my sons class every day. I am loving all of his little classmates. The local YMCA partners up with our childrens school and provided 2 weeks of free swim lessons. I was so stoked they were still doing this. My daughter got to partake in this when she was in Kindergarten 2 years ago. It has been so exciting and I am really keeping my fingers crossed that he actually walks away from the class knowing how to swim. He has done very well with the exception of when he is dunked and more recently the having to jump off the side the instructor. I have faith in him and will be there everyday to cheer him and classmates on. Moments that make me love being a mom even more.
I am still contemplating a few new crafts and projects to work on. My list is way longer than time at this point. I have decided that I am going to start leaning more towards repurposing and upcycling for new projects. I really am loving both of those things and I my supplies are coming slowly but surely. We have created some awesomely Halloween cupcakes, some new arts and crafts with the kids, some adult themed Halloween things. I would like to do a 13 days until Halloween countdown crafts, but I may just start posting them sooner. How is your decorating and planning going?
