Freshly Squeezed Homemade Lemonade from our Guest Poster Plucky's Second Thought!

Hello all! I'm Plucky from Plucky’s Second Thought…but most call me Jess. :) Why "Plucky" you may ask? Well, it was a nickname when I was younger and it was one that was never forgotten! At Plucky’s Second Thought I try to post easy craft projects and recipes that anyone could accomplish. Yep, you don’t have to be Martha Stewart or Rachael Ray to attempt anything on my blog! There are also a variety of travel and product reviews as well as some awesome giveaways and link parties! :)

I wanted to share a recent recipe that my family made for our Memorial Day Cookout! We made it last year and it ended up being a huge hit, so we decided to make it again! Why by lemonade at the store when it's THIS easy to make at home? Also, you know exactly what's going into it and know there are no chemicals involved! :) It's SUPER easy and SUPER delicious! :) ENJOY!

Freshly Squeezed Homemade Lemonade Ingredients:
  • 6 lemons (1 c lemon juice)
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 6 cups water
  • ice
Directions:
  • First, accumulate all of the needed lemon juice from your lemons; I used a juicer to save time and energy, however you can get the most juice by firmly rolling the lemons between your hand and the counter if you're doing it by hand.
  • In a gallon pitcher combine 1 cup lemon juice, 3/4 cup sugar, and 6 cups water; stir/shake/mix.
  • Chill and serve over ice.
