Christmas Tree Silhouette Dancing ~Jamming to Christmas Songs

Christmas trees are so magical with all of the soft glowing lights and sparkly bells. Add Christmas music, family and maybe a little sugar to the mix and you have yourself some unforgettable memories in the making. That is just what we did. It was cold and rainy out, so we were at home trying to find something interesting to get ourselves into. My hubby and I were sitting on the love seat while he was flipping through songs and the kids just started to dance. I love the imagination and energy our kids have! They have the best little personalities. Attitudes and fits, well that is another story. Making new traditions just seem to happen, you can't force them or they are no fun and are just to planned. It just happened!

Holiday voices like: Bing Crosby, Brenda Lee, Perry Como, Bobby Helms, Nat King Cole, Gene Autry, Burl Ives, Gayla Peevey, The Ronettes,  Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Amy Grant, Faith Hill, Mariah Carey, Johnny Mathis, Doris Day, Barry Manilow, Eartha Kitt, Drifters, John Lennon, Spike Jones & His City Slickers and the Beach Boys. I mean some seriously soulful voices and it just isn't Christmas without them.

Christmas songs we love:

o The Grinch
o Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
o Frosty the Snowman
o Up on the Roof Top
o All I want for Christmas is my two front Teeth
o Jingle Bells
o Blue Christmas - the rooster in Rock-a-Doodle sings this song in the movie, which made my kids automatically love this Elvis classic.
o I'm Gettin' Nuttin' for Christmas
o Here Come Santa Claus
o I want a hippopotamus for Christmas
o 12 Days of Christmas
o Silver Bells
o Hark! The Herald Angel
o The First Noel
o Silver Bells
o Deck the Halls
o Have yourself a Merry little Christmas
o O' Holy Night
o O' Come All Ye Faithful
o We wish you a Merry Christmas and  Happy New Year
o Run, Rudolph Run
o Sleigh Ride
o The most Wonderful Day of the Year
o Ol' Saint Nicholas
o The Little Drummer Boy
o Santa Baby
o White Christmas
o Happy Christmas
o Little Saint Nick
o Adore Him
o Away in a Manger
o Joy to the World
o O' Little Town of Bethlehem
o Silent Night
o Mary Did you Know
o Do you hear what I hear?
o O Come, O Come Emmanuel
o Tidings of Christmas and Joy
o We Three Kings

Here is my YouTube channel with most of these songs (still working on it): Christmas Playlist
I just made it public within the last month. Trying something new. :)

I really like those songs, but here are a few more favorites:

Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree- Brenda Lee

Trans Siberian Orchestra- Christmas Canon, Sugar Plum Fairy Dance, Snowflake Waltz

I hope to go see them one day!

Happy Holidays!
